Tips, Tricks and Care

Sleeve and Toy Care

Sleeve and toy care is simple. We only use 100% of the highest quality platinum set, medical grade silicone, which is all manufactured in the United States. What does this actually mean? Silicone, while porous, has pours so small that bacteria can not penetrate past the surface of the material. It also means that the silicone has been tested by a third party and was found to be inert and that it does not leach chemicals and is safe for contact with skin. Platinum set silicones are the safest materials for use in the adult novelty industry.
To keep your sleeves and toys fresh and safe, washing them in a mild soap and warm water. Once your toys are washed, make sure that that they are properly dried before storage. For durian sleeves we recommend wrapping them in a soft breathable material like a cotton towel. This will help keep the smell of the durian from building up durian storage.
Boiling your silicone is unnecessary and can damage sleeves that have durian in them. We do not recommended boiling them.
A good way to ensure that your toys are completely dry before storage is to give them a light dusting of corn starch after drying them. This will absorb any residual moisture as well as help keep softer silicones from feeling tacky.

Tricks and tips for sleeve success:

Warming your sleeve and water based lube:

Warm your sleeve and your water based lubricant to around 102 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be done by rolling your sleeve and lube inside of a heating pad on low/medium heat for 5-10 minutes before use. The average temperature for human genitals is around 102 degrees Fahrenheit. This is usually the solution for people looking for a more realistic feel to their sleeves. Since the silicone is all from the family of silicones referred to as “flesh-like” the only thing that is really missing is the correct temperature. Also, heating the sleeves and lube removes the surprise your partner is going to receive from a cold sleeve or lube which can ruin your experience.

Lube Verses Friction:

Make sure you use plenty of water-based lubricant. Lube your partner and the sleeve before use. If your partner experiences a burning or raw sensation the culprit is insufficient lubrication. For some partners, lubing their exterior and the sleeve is not enough. Silicone has a surface friction coefficient 3 times higher than human skin. Lube will remove that friction, if done properly. Some partners may require lubrication on the interior as well as the exterior. If your partner seems too dry after you lube their exterior and the sleeve you may need to use a lubricant applicator syringe. These are plastic and can squirt water-based lube inside your partner. The applicator can be prefilled with water based lube and warmed along with the sleeve and other lube. The use of an applicator is recommended for partners who experience dryness as well as those looking to use large girth sleeves. Be kind to your partner and use a good quality water-based lube and plenty of it. We recommend Bad Dragon clear water based cum lube. It is cheap, body safe and cleans up easily. It is also super slick and will not damage your sleeves. Do not use silicone or silicone hybrid lubes.

Warm up your partner:

If your partner is not warmed up enough or not relaxed enough they can unintentionally clamp down and cause a sleeve to bend. Take your time and make sure they are relaxed andthoroughly lubed.

Rolling your sleeve:

When you start to roll your sleeve, point the head of the sleeve to your stomach with the bottom/belly of the sleeve facing up. Once you roll the sleeve all the way up it will be easier to rotate the sleeve over your erection to roll it back down your penis.

Do not use silicone lubes with your purchases. Silicone lubes can degrade the surface of silicone toys.  We recommend a good quality water based lube.

When buying GLOW colors it is best to charge them with a UV light. They charge quicker and glow brighter than when charged with sunlight.
